To be able to retain our well-established position of wellness hotel in the long-term, lasting measures are necessary. In the nearby Allgäu region near Oberstaufen, we manage and cultivate 20 hectares of meadow and forest land. The successful change-over to extensive agriculture has made it possible for us to obtain the following products:
- Unfertilised organic Alpine hay for our soft pack applications
- Organic pine twigs and essences for sauna pouring water
- Elderberry syrup and extracts for our wellness kitchen
- Organic herb cultivation on unfertilised Alpine meadows
- Last but not least our entire fire wood requirements
- Moon wood for our pinewood chip baths
- Starting in 2008: suckler cow husbandry, "Hohenlohe breed"
