Are there specific rules concerning behaviour in the SPA area?
Many of our guests are seeking calm and relaxation in the entire SPA area. We would like their wishes to be respected. We consider it to be up to the sensitivity and tactfulness of our guests to recognise the needs of those around them and to behave accordingly. However, we are all agreed on two points:
Mobile phones and smoking are taboo!
How do I find the right treatments in the Beauty Lounge?
Making a decision is not easy in view of the large variety of treatments on offer. The best thing is to ask yourself whether you want to be active or passive. Many of our guests prefer a combination of active exercise and being spoilt with relaxing treatment programmes.
Or maybe our exotic Asian treatments remind you of your last holiday in Asia? Let us know your wishes and above all your expectations. Our trained SPA staff will undoubtedly find the right treatment for you.
Can I still book treatments in the Beauty Lounge once I have arrived at the hotel?
Not always. Some treatments may be fully booked at weekends and on specific days. For this reason, to be safe, it is best if you book treatments together with your room reservation.
Otherwise, please make your additional wishes known on the day of your arrival at the hotel. This applies especially if you are staying only for a few days.
When can I inspect the SPA?
All new guests are shown around individually on arrival and receive explanations of the facilities and treatments.
Is the number of treatments per day limited?
Basically, you can have as many treatments in one day as you like. However, do not forget that a wellness holiday should provide you with relaxation rather than additional stress. Also, the sequence of treatments needs to be dovetailed to give you the full effect.
Can I book treatments also for the weekend and public holidays?
Of course. Our members of staff are there for you every day, including weekends and public holidays, between 8.00 hours and 21.00 hours.
We are sure you will appreciate that access to the Beauty Lounge and all treatment rooms is reserved exclusively for guests who have booked treatments.
Can I be treated at the same time as my girlfriend?
When allocating treatment times, our wellness team will always try to ensure that treatments are timed in parallel and where this is not possible (for the whirl tub and the soft pack lounger) directly one after the other.
What should I take along to the SPA and what will I be given at the SPA reception?
Take whatever you consider suitable and useful for making your time in the SPA agreeable; it would be best if you wore the bathrobe from your hotel room, non-slip bathing sandals and swim wear. Most bathing treatments and massages you will enjoy without wearing clothes. If you have booked a SPA package, you will receive a SPA basket for whatever you bring along. It will hold your usual cosmetics, reading material etc. You will receive towels for your wellness day at SPA reception.
What do I do with my jewellery and other valuables?
There is a safe in your hotel room or at hotel reception for your personal valuables. We do not accept any liability in respect of valuables.
Can I choose a male or female therapist?
Of course. To respect your privacy, all parts of your body which are not being treated are covered with towels, whether you are being treated by a male or female therapist.
