Are there specific rules concerning behaviour in the SPA area?

The main thing that many guests throughout the SPA are looking for is rest and quiet. This should be respected. In principle, we rely on the sensitivity of the guest to recognise the requirements of his or her neighbour and behave accordingly. However, we do agree on two points:

Mobile phones and smoking are taboo!

How can I find the right offers in our Beauty Lounge?

It's not easy to find your way through the variety of all the offers. So first of all ask yourself this question: do you want to be passive or active? Many guests also prefer the combination of sporting activity and relaxing pampering programmes.

Or should those exotic Asian treatments remind you of your last holiday in Asia? Tell us about your wishes and in particular your expectations. Our trained SPA staff will be sure to find the right offers for you.

Can I also book treatments on site in the Beauty Lounge?

Not always, as on weekends for example or on specific days some treatments may already be fully booked. Your safest course is therefore to book your reservations at the same time as booking your room.

Otherwise, tell us about your additional wishes in the hotel, best of all on the day you arrive. This applies particularly if you are only staying for a few days.

When can I view the SPA?

Our new guests are given an individual tour with explanations of the equipment and treatments on arrival.

Is the number of treatments I can have in a day limited?

In principle, you can have as many treatments as you want in a single day. But do please remember that a wellness holiday is intended to be relaxing for you and not add extra stress. Also, the sequence of all treatments should be in harmony, allowing the effects to work together fully.

Can I also book treatments on weekends and public holidays as well?

But of course. Our staff are there for you daily, including on weekends and public holidays, from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Please understand that access to the Beauty Lounge with all its treatment rooms is reserved for guests with booked treatments only.

Can I be treated together with my girlfriend?

When issuing appointments, our wellness team always tries as far as possible to book parallel treatment times and if this is not possible (in the whirlpool bath and on the softpack lounger) appointments that follow directly on one another.

What should I bring into the SPA - what do I receive at the SPA reception?

Whatever you think would be suitable and useful for a pleasant stay in the Spa: It's best to wear the bathrobe from your hotel room, non-slip bathing sandals and swimwear. Most baths and massages are enjoyed unclothed. If you have booked a SPA package, you will receive a small SPA basket for all the items. There will be room for your usual cosmetic products, reading matter and similar items.

At the SPA reception you will also receive towels for your wellness day.

What should I do with my jewellery and other valuables?

You will find a safe in your hotel room or at hotel reception for your personal items of value. We accept no liability for items of value.

Can I choose a male or female therapist?

But of course. To protect your privacy further, parts of your body that are not being treated at that moment are covered with towels – whether you are being treated by a male or a female therapist.

Special wishes and individual requirements?

Not a problem. Please let us know your wishes, requirements and concerns at the start of treatment, allowing our therapists to adjusts to your individual needs, particularly where massage and body treatments, as well as cosmetics, are concerned.

When should I arrive for my appointment?

For your first visit, arrive early enough to take your time becoming acquainted with the circumstances and situation. Before treatment, take a relaxing shower. If you want to use the sauna as well, please find out if this is recommended before the desired treatments. Then your enjoyable hour will pass quickly. For the treatment itself, you should be ready five to ten minutes before the appointment.

What happens if I am late for my appointment?

If you are late the time of your treatment is correspondingly shorter. Your treatment will end on time, so as not to keep the next guest waiting.

What happens if I have to cancel a treatment?

The treatment times you have chosen have been specially reserved for you. Please note that you can cancel reserved appointments up to 24 hours before treatment. If you cancel at a later time, the hotel will charge 100% of the price, unless the appointment can be passed on to someone else.

Should men shave before facial treatments?

Yes, we recommend that you shave a few hours beforehand. This means that the high-quality cosmetic products will then have the best possible effect on your skin.

Can I eat and drink in the SPA?

A water container is available for all guests in the sauna area. You also have the option of choosing small snacks for between meals and healthy drinks from the range on offer at the "Vitamin Snack Bar".

How do I behave in the sauna and steam grotto?

This area is accessed unclothed. Before you use the sauna, the steam grotto or the pool, we request that you take a shower. In the steam sauna, you will find a hose for spraying the seating surfaces before and after the session.

Please place a towel under all body parts in the sauna. No sweat should be allowed to come in contact with the wood. Infusion containers are available for you in the anteroom of the sauna; you are welcome to use these yourself. We have also provided places to put your spectacles.

Do I have to stay in the sauna for the time the hourglass shows?

You should only use this area for as long as you feel comfortable. If you no longer feel comfortable, sit up and go outside slowly. Then cool down under the massage shower and rest for at least twice the length of time afterwards.

Can I also purchase the products with which I am being treated?

Of course you don't have to do without your favourite products at home. You can purchase all products here from us.

Can I also give vouchers as gifts?

Yes, of course. We have a large number of gift ideas for ladies and gentlemen and for young and old. You can buy attractively designed vouchers in a range of prices at our SPA reception. Let our professional staff advise you.
We are also happy to gift-wrap SPA products for you.
